Glass Factory Harrachov

Glassworks Novosad a syn is private firm and it is the second the oldest glassworks in Bohemia.

The glassworks originated before 1712 at Jilemnice manor that belonged to Harrach's count family. It keeps here traditional manufacture technique. Distinct 100 year old historical cutting room whos original equipment is powered by water turbine with transmissions. Everything is fully functional there.

The production is orientated to luxurious sets of drinking glasses, decorative glasses and crystal cut chandeliers.

In 2002 small brewery and restaurant were built in the glassworks area. From the restaurant you can see the glass production and the local yeast beer is brewed directly in view of the guests.
